British Paragon Vintage Teacup Candle

The teacup and saucer were made in Japan and imported by an Ohio-based company called International Art Ware Corporation (INARCO). The company's products became very popular in 1962 after the company started to sell "Jackie Kennedy" head vases that are often said to depict the former first lady dressed in mourning black after the death of her husband. This lovely purple violet floral patterned teacup and saucer set with gilding around the rim and along the handle were made in Japan during the 1960s and exported to the USA market by INARCO. For this teacup candle, we have infused coconut soy wax with juniper as the top note that gives this light-bodied spirit its signature aroma. In the base, balsam, oak, cedar, and cypress fuse to create a woody fusion. The top of the candle is decorated with dried flowers and crystals for luck and well-being. Once you light your candle, the botanical gin and aged woods will embrace you and relax your mind.

We are not using any coloring agent for our candles in order to keep the teacups reusable and not to damage the vintage item. You get the best of both worlds, this teacup has been repurposed into a candle that can be enjoyed before being turned back into a teacup.

Usage Tips

Always trim the wick before lighting and keep debris out of the wax pool. Do not burn for more than 2-3 hours at a single period of time. Place the candle away from flammable objects and place the candle in a candle dish or other appropriate vessel that is heat resistant. For the most enjoyment let the wax harden and cool before relighting the candle.
